Making the Most of January
1. Take a holiday.
2. If you can’t get away, then go out to dinner a few times and go for a drive somewhere nice on weekends.
3. Think about ways to improve the ministries you will be involved in. Resist another year on ‘automatic pilot’.
4. Ring an old friend and have a good catch up.
5. Consider what you want to achieve in 2009 and don’t be afraid to trust God and take some risks.
6. Read a book for the pure enjoyment of it and/or that will challenge your
thinking.
7. Start developing one new friendship.
8. Read Ecclesiastes.
9. Clean out your desk.
10. Use email and the internet purposefully rather than just for filling in time.
