It’s here folks!

RFIDI remember as a child hearing speculation about technological advances that seemed to coincide with the biblical “mark of the beast.” Back then it was wild speculation for the most part. Today it is reality.

If you hold to a literal interpretation of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, you probably believe there will be a seven year time of tribulation on planet earth in the end times. Revelation 13 explains the mark:

16He also forced everyone… to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

The most likely technology that this refers to is RFID (radio frequency identification). It is now used extensively in the warehousing and logistics sectors and is fast gaining ground in other sectors.

Should we panic? Should we spread the word?! Should we boycott this technology?

I prefer to say “lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near”! (Luke 21:28)

“Come, Lord Jesus!” (Rev. 22:20)

Interesting post, but very encouraging. Thanks for sharing… =)

Relax–the chip isn’t the most likely technology. Whoever thought that up never asked a banker if he’d like to use a technology without a manual backup option as legal tender and the only way of paying for all 7 billion people on this earth.

Read my free e-book Walkabout: The History of a Brief Century for a banker’s view of the End Times and a technology that would actually work as legal tender!
