At least in todays churches.. :) I don't mean to play the Devil's advocate but if evolution was true couldn't God sovereignly dictate it to achieve His goals. I mean it may appear 'random' to us but to God it is carefully orchestrated. In the same sense that whilst everything around us *now* doesn't necessarily make sense it will in the future.. Though in saying that I believe that since scripture is clear in regards to our origin and such talks are probably pointless :) :)

It is one of the general apologetic weaknesses of an internally consistent Arminian theology.
