Ultimately, I agree with you that Scripture is too clear on ex nihilo creation to really seriously debate it.

I think people may not like the label Arminian, but they are for the most part Calvinized Arminians. At least in todays churches.. :)

I don&#039;t mean to play the Devil&#039;s advocate but if evolution was true couldn&#039;t God sovereignly dictate it to achieve His goals. I mean it may appear &#039;random&#039; to us but to God it is carefully orchestrated. In the same sense that whilst everything around us *now* doesn&#039;t necessarily make sense it will in the future..

Though in saying that I believe that since scripture is clear in regards to our origin and such talks are probably pointless :)</description>
