Daniel Scocco over at Daily Blog Tips gives 101 tips for being a good blogger. Here are the 23 I thought were most helpful.

  1. write about something that you love
  2. proofread
  3. proofread one more time
  4. interact with other bloggers
  5. leave meaningful comments
  6. leave funny comments

  8. content is king
  9. write “How to” articles
  10. make your posts scannable
  11. have some spare posts for emergencies
  12. return comments
  13. return links
  14. use email interviews
  15. be yourself
  16. link to other blogs as often as possible
  17. use titles effectively
  18. always answer to questions

  20. write with a personal touch
  21. organize your categories
  22. talk directly to your readers

lol… it strikes me that #5 and #6 could be contradictory. =P

Meaningful and funny? Hmmm…depends on the person talking. Lol
